Full Time Interior Designer Position
Established design/build remodeling company has an immediate opening for a full time interior designer. Serious candidates must have design experience in residential remodeling. Experience maintaining a design studio is a plus. Besides being a talented designer, candidates must be proficient at multi-tasking, time management and administration. Must be able to work well in a team environment and work with little supervision. Must be proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office. Interior design license is preferred but not required. Sales Associate
Under the supervision of the showroom manager, the sales associate must take responsibility for all aspects of individual sales to trade and retail customers along with building client relationships through strategic business planning, selling, customer service, and marketing.
Specific Responsibilities:
- · Develop, implement and manage a strategic business plan (Personal Selling Plan - PSP)
- · Drive individual sales to meet monthly individual and showroom fair share goals
- · Inside and outside showroom sales to trade and retail customers
- · Develop the client relationship through outreach and prospecting
- · Regular scheduled outside calls and communication of new product
- · Networking with the trade through involvement in meetings and events
- · Participation in showroom events
- · Engage the customer with prompt, friendly service
- · Qualify each client through purposeful questioning
- · Determine Customer needs
- · Follow up on quotations daily
- · Close the Sale
- · Follow up on all sales to ensure customer satisfaction and service
- · Enter own orders when administrator is backed up to result in timely product delivery to clients
- · Follow up on leads provided by Corporate, Showroom Manager, and in local and national publications
- · Develop a granular product and systems knowledge
- · Contribute in maintaining the showroom display and sample board inventory
- · Participate in maintaining a well stocked and organized sample room
- · Participate in a Team environment
- · Practice and follow all safety policies and regulations
